WHAT IS FLIGHTEER

A live flight tracker and 3D simulator in your browser

Flighteer turns open ADS-B data into a live flight tracker. Every aircraft you see is a real passenger flight in the air right now, placed on a 3D globe with its actual position, altitude, speed and heading.

Pick a flight from the live board and step inside. Five cameras—cockpit, left and right passenger windows, chase and 360°—let you watch the journey from departure to arrival. The mini map and HUD keep the route, progress and ETA in view.

There is nothing to install and no account to create. The site runs in a modern desktop or mobile browser, and the 3D scene loads only when you choose a flight.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before following your first live flight.

Is Flighteer free to use?

Yes. Flighteer is free, needs no account and runs entirely in your browser. There is nothing to download or install.

How live is the flight data?

Aircraft positions come from open ADS-B networks and refresh every few seconds. Coverage and latency vary by region, and flights over oceans or remote areas may pause or lose signal.

Can I follow a flight from the cockpit?

Yes. Choose any flight on the live board and switch between cockpit, left and right passenger window, chase and 360° cameras while the aircraft keeps flying its real route.

Which flights can I track?

The live board shows real passenger flights with verified departure and arrival airports, selected from major traffic regions around the world. Use the search box to filter by airline, flight number, city or airport.

Does Flighteer work on mobile?

Yes. The site is responsive and works in modern mobile browsers, though the 3D globe and live updates use more data and battery than a simple page.

ABOUT THE DATA

Flighteer takes aircraft positions from the open ADS-B networks OpenSky Network, adsb.lol and adsb.fi, and route and airport information from adsbdb. Satellite imagery is by Esri, Maxar and Earthstar Geographics; the 3D globe runs on CesiumJS. Coverage and latency vary by source and region.
